Super 8 by Wyndham Jonesboro

I’m involved with a group that planned an event that required us to secure motel/hotel rooms for several individuals. The decision was made to use the Super 8. Rooms were reserved and on the day of our event (Jan 9) we personally went in and checked-in, paid for the rooms. There were 6 rooms paid for and keys activated for these rooms by Tony around 2 in the afternoon. Keys were left at the desk for these individuals to pick up as they were all arriving separately and at different times later in the evening. ||Unfortunately, when the last two people arrived late that night they were told there were no reservations for them and no rooms, no paperwork whatsoever. A member of our group went up to Super 8 to attempt to sort out the situation and got nowhere. Asked to have the manager called and the management also said if there was no reservation there was nothing to be done. We ended up leaving and getting rooms at a different establishment. ||The issue is we paid for and checked-in 6 rooms. I’ve been charged for 6 rooms and only 4 were used. The last two were literally stolen from us by Super 8 even though we had proof of the reservation and payment. Never have I seen such poor management or customer service. Absolutely will the charges be disputed.

Rooms were clean. Tony checked us in before check in which was wonderful because we had to go somewhere else and needed to put our bags in the room. When we got back its when we had trouble with the front desk lady Sisi. She was rude at first and then acted nice towards us when she knew we already checked in. Sunday morning I heard her yelling at the housekeeper which woke us up but no biggie but still she could be more professional and nice. Super 8 watch that lady. We were not the only customers she was rude to!

Positive: Modern features with lamps, mirror, restroom sink. Microwave and refrigerator and it's near nice places to eat and shop. Negative: I woIt's a work in progress & I honor their dedication to bringing the location up to code and maling the rooms more modern. We did see a small mouse in our room and I think that is because the location allows people to live their and I respect that too.

My wife and I were not sure what to expect when staying at Super 8 in Jonesboro. But Mr. Tony assured us on the phone that it would be fine. He actually checked us in at arrival and made us feel right at home. During our 3 day stay, Tony was quick to help us with any problems we encountered. Sisi at the front desk was also helpful. We would likely stay here again when in Jonesboro.

6:55 Driving home from FL exhausted, all hotels were booked because of graduation Saturday. Read the reviews and booked here. First of all, this place needs to be condemned. They need to update their photos. Thank goodness we had our own blankets because we stripped the bed to sleep on. Breakfast included um that’ll be a hard no! Do not stay here! No working fire alarms (see photos) It is not safe.shame on you Wyndham.

The reviews are mostly bad, but it's not a bad place at all. The neighborhood is not sketchy (as a review said) and everything is close and convenient as far as groceries and stores are concerned. It was very close to the area where I needed to be for both of my events. The water was hot, the bed comfy, the staff nice, and the breakfast was normal. Of course there was bugs, but they are doing renovations and people come in and out of hotels all the time bringing little critters with them, it's just the way it is. There were one or two not a million..... there is a difference.

I now have scabies from when I slept here. Service is good. View is alright. I now have scabies in the palms of my hands though. Props to that. This is embarrassing to walk around with. I’m getting treatment to kill it.

Gross. Rooms smelled like weed and cigarettes. Felt dirty all the way around. Not a very well taken care of establishment tbh. I travel often and this is bottom of the barrel. We moved to the Hilton Garden Inn about 200 yards from this location. Rooms are cheap and Duck Hunters stay here for the trailer parking. We are also avid duck hunters but cleanliness/comfort trump parking accommodations any day of the week. Sorry but honest review.
