Yugo Flagstaff Grove

Got a renovated apartment for $1300 ish. Signed for an extra year because they advertised it as a deal to save, which was $20 off a month or something. Ended up having to move, so we had to sublease. Their policies are unforgiving, there was no cancelling. Current apartments were going for $1050, when we had resigned for $1250 ish. They would not change it to $1050 for the new tenants. We got lucky finding people that made a deal with us. Do not resign early. This is an international corporate company that just wants your money. Wait until August when they are desperate so you can get a rate like $1050 haha The staff were always nice. The apartment was fine.

This is a complex that I have become generally familiar with. It is European owned. The shared areas are generally large. The apartments are decently designed. The parking is something to be aware of. Even if you have a guest pass you MUST park in guest parking. That is not well-marked on the passes. When lease renewals come up, do NOT immediately sign. Wait until the last minute. We made the mistake of signing right away to lock in a "best price," only to discover months later that the new move-in rate was more than $300 lower a few months later. The complex is not currently full, so rates should be nice and low for the upcoming year.

Our student ambassador was great. Showed us everything. This is supposedly one of the oldest apartment complexes in Flagstaff, or so we're told. Has many amenities, including a resort style pool and dog parks. We're told it's a 10-minute walk to either end of NAU's campus and if walking isn't your thing, there is a bus stop right outside the property that will take you into the campus. It has a mountainesque feeling, not too city like the other Yugo option. Parking is super cheap and this location seemed to offer the most bang for your rent buck, including all utilities included except electricity. Out of the 4 apartment options we checked out, both Yugos, Highland Village and Ridge at Clear Creek, this one rated highest on our list when taking everything into consideration for a college student.

i’ve lived here for the past four years and i’ve genuinely enjoyed it. the gym is adequate, the study room and printer is very convenient, and it’s very close to campus. the rent is also reasonable considering that it’s Flagstaff. management is very communicative and overall i’ve not had any issues living here. I definitely recommend it when people tell me they’re moving here for school.

The staff here is great. They're responsive on work orders, always nice and professional, and they keep all the public areas clean and tidy. They do nice little things like inviting food trucks and emailing reminders to get your free coffee from the clubhouse. The gym is good for an apartment with a solid squat rack and dumbbells up to 75. It's a nice atmosphere because of the staff, I'd recommend to students who want to be close to campus.

Yugo Grove is by far the best place to live in flagstaff. Maintenance resolves issues quickly, front desk/management is so friendly and truly amazing at everything. They’re so sweet and so helpful in answering all of the annoying questions we had throughout our whole time here. I wish I moved here earlier during my time as a student in Flagstaff. So many options to park and activities to do around the premises. They have nice study lounges and recreational activities. I would recommend Yugo Grove to any student looking for housing close to campus. Great location. So amazing!

Have lived at Yugo Grove for two years now and I love it! My only complaint is there’s no elevator for fourth level apartments. However, the amenities are awesome and there’s a greater sense of community here. The staff is amazing & quick to answer questions! The rent is also cheaper than a lot of other places around flagstaff.
