Recently we lost my dear sweet Grandson ❤️ We also lost two very special Furbaby Family members, all in one week. Cynthia, Terry, Chad, everyone, they truly understood our pain and, were very compassionate and helpful, they handled everything very efficiently. We had to have our loved one brought from another City here in Alabama for the service, they saved us the stress and more pain of having to deal with that, with everything else going on. I Praise our most Gracious Heavenly Father for each and every-one of them and sincerely thank them all for everything. They are not just a Funeral Home, they are a Comfort Home with very compassionate people that don't put on aires and pretend to care, THEY CARE, they are 100 % real and it shows. They are not just a Business with Employees, they are Family / Friends Thank you all at Sorrells in Slocomb Alabama! ❤️

I lost my brother this past week and through such a tragedy my family was given a sense of peace as Sorrell Funeral Home handled everything with such sincerity and compassion. That was something I did not expect! After seeing so many people come through I thought they would become immune to the situation but they did not treat this like a business deal, but with so much care and compassion. Often times we look at Police officers, firefighters, emts, etc as heroes... which they are, but I now see that these people are the forgotten ones! They were there for the emotions and the decisions after the fact, they took care of my brother and treated him as if they knew him too. They seemed so genuine and during such a hard time my entire family was blown away by the way they handled everything! We appreciate and thank each of them for everything they did to be there for our family.
